Matmekka is Etnografiska Museets (The Ethnographic Museum), new restaurant (since september). They serve locally produced, organic, fairtrade food-, desserts- and drinks. They also serve Brunkullans tea - second generation teamaker and ecogastronome. Working with Slow Food values for rural development.

In the area Djurgården it's also perfect for walking, looking at exotic birds and it's actually feels fantastic to be that close to town and still experience nature of this kind. You could also rent a canoe nearby to experience this area paddling.
The Museum restaurants and cafées is often really good. For example Medelhavsmuseets (The Mediterranean Museum) Bagdad Café that except for good food, baklavas and a nice view. They also arrange for example winetastings.

Moderna Museet (The Modern Museum) café, besides the Museeum, offers the swedish fried herring, waffles with jam and this saturday a farmers market.

Vin & Sprithistoriska museet/The museum of wine and spirits got a really interesting program for example swedish flavours, food and wine, champagne tastings and so on.
